India is growing fast, with more and more people moving to cities. But there aren’t enough homes or basic services like clean water, roads, and waste disposal. Right now, there’s a shortage of 19 million homes, and it could double to 38 million by 2030. Most of the people who need homes the most, like those with low incomes, are hit the hardest.

To fix this, everyone needs to work together – the government, businesses, and community groups. The government has a plan called Housing for All by 2022, but more needs to be done.
